You are right, but then again, everyone dies. Some get to die by saving Western civilization: others don't.
When I say that the Spartans saved Western civilazation, I am not exaggerating. The fact that IS now an "east" and a "west" has to do primarily wiht Maraton (there, the Athenians get a nod), the Hot Gates, and Salamis. For all their brutish ways, when the chips were down, everyone wanted the Spartans with them.
That is why Leonidas and crew deserve to be immortalized, my friend.
What have I done to save Western civilization?
