bless you, friends who've heard my voice
This weekend, Con and I watched a little video of a slumber party.
I've noted this before, but the footage brought this fact into sharp focus:
I have an annoying voice. It's LOUD and grating.

silly. i think everyone thinks their voices sound loud and harsh. i think it's because when we hear our own voices, it's through our bones, which resonates more. out in the air it always sounds terrible. i think my voice sounds really shrill. i thought it was weird, too, watching my own facial expressions. they don't look how they feel on my face. it makes me wonder what i was feeling at the time that i made a particular expression.
one thing i do know is that i miss you guys! that party was a lot of fun.

Thanks! I will try and keep in mind that everyone has an issue with themselves. Generally, I am happy with who and what I am. A little voice immodulation isn't so bad.
